The Comedy Cabaret – Monday June 25th Ned & Larry Book Launch @8PM Comedy Cabaret @9PM – Charlotte Room
Posted by The Comedy Cabaret
June 25th @ 8PM we’re celebrating the launch of Ned & Larry’s first book with drinks, food, and (um) books at Charlotte Room. Join us at Charlotte Room on Monday June 25th at 8PM for Ned & Larry’s book launch party and stay for a very special Comedy Cabaret show at 9PM.
Is it possible that you haven’t read Ned & Larry yet? Hey, that’s no problem; you can check them out anytime: http://nedandlarry.com/readers-choice-2
Ned & Larry started up on a full time basis this past October and in that time their website has recorded nearly 60,000 visits. This unassuming comic about two goldfish and their misadventures in (and sometimes out) of their bowl is the brainchild of Toronto cartoonist Robin Crossman. And although it was started with no particular syndication goals, this comic has quickly become a daily favorite amongst thousands of readers the world over courtesy of media partners such as Fluster Magazine.
With more than 240 Ned & Larry comics in the bag, it was decided that this might be a good time to release the first of what is sure to be many books in the Ned & Larry series.
It’s Raining Food!
‘Ned & Larry – It’s Raining Food’ is a collection of goldfish cartoons featuring more than seven weeks of the funniest Ned & Larry comics to date. Packed with over 50 Ned & Larry comics, ‘It’s Raining Food’ is surely one of the most entertaining books about goldfish ever published. Who knew two little (well, one not so little) fish would have so much to say.
We’ll have a limited number of books available for sale at the show with a special book launch price to boot ($10 per book). And of course Robin would be happy to sign your Ned & Larry book for you.
